Colour and texture

It’s not just the colour of the leaves that inspire me, but the texture and the marks left by insect life or the process of decomposer before the leaves are pressed. These unusual textures and markings make each leaf unique. For me the leaves don’t have to be perfect specimens as these unusual markings give insight into the way in which nature works.
